In 1990, Founder, President and CEO James Strott, already a veteran in the Registered Agent industry, joined forces with public record research firm, Hylind Infoquest, Inc. and created TRAC – The Registered Agent Company.
As one of only a handful of companies with a national presence and a complete repertoire of corporate and legals services in its wheelhouse, TRAC quickly established a powerful presence in the industry, and attracted the attention of Information America, Inc., a publicly held online information business, which acquired TRAC in 1993.
Under the IA umbrella, TRAC’s reputation as a major player in the Registered Agent industry continued to solidify, and the opportunity became ripe for Jim and his team to reacquire TRAC from IA and establish itself as an independent entity.
Now, over 2 decades later, TRAC services have grown to include both Registered Agent as well as Independent Director and Manager Services. Over the years, our client base has expanded to include major law firms, lenders, borrowers and private companies from coast to coast, and our client satisfaction rates are unmatched in the industry.
